We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our clients Commercial Finance team. This is a critical role focused on high-level reporting, forecasting, and partnering with the supply chain and merchandise teams to optimize working capital and inventory management.

In this role, you will lead the weekly and monthly commercial reporting agenda, ensuring teams have the accurate data they need to make informed decisions. You will act as the bridge between finance and the operational side, providing the insights necessary to make informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial Reporting & Forecasting: Lead the preparation of month-end result packs and coordinate the forecasting process, ensuring all assumptions are accurately reflected.
  • Insights & Analysis: Provide deep-dive analysis on net working capital, stock loss, and inflation, identifying risks and opportunities to improve financial outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as a trusted advisor to the business across finance and operations, creating standardized reporting and leading system enhancements.
  • Process Improvement: Manage core operational levers to drive profitable growth, simplifying complex financial information for a broad audience.

Your Experience & Skills:

  • Qualifications: CA/CPA qualified with 3+ years of post-qualified experience.
  • Sector Knowledge: Experience within Retail, FMCG, or eCommerce sectors is highly desirable.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel and modeling skills are essential. Experience with SAP, Business Objects, GCP, or Tableau is a significant advantage.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to "make the complex simple" for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Analytical Rigor: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on both short-term priorities and long-term strategic goals.
